Individuals with a degree in hypnotherapy, counselling, psychology or a related field

Has completed the Boards full hypnotherapy course or it’s equivalent.

Agrees to abide by the Board’s By Laws, Constitution and Code of Ethics.

Has successfully completed a two year practicum in hypnotherapy or counselling. (Or five years practice)

Individuals with a university degree, college diploma in hypnotherapy, counselling, psychology or equivalent training and
experience. Have completed the Canadian Board’s full hypnotherapy course or its equivalent

Agrees to abide by the Board’s By Laws, Constitution and Code of Ethics.

Has successfully completed a one year practicum in hypnotherapy or counselling. (Or three years practice)

Limited Time Grandfathering: Individuals who have a degree, college diploma or equivalent training and experience,
have completed the CBHC’s 1st year course or have extensive training in hypnotherapy and have at least five years of
practice.

Individuals engaged in hypnotherapy, counselling or related fields having successfully completed The Canadian Board’s
300 Hour 1st year Certification Course. Agree to abide by the Boards By Laws, Constitution and Code of Ethics. Limited
Time Grandfathering: Individuals who have completed a 100 hour or more professional level course in hypnotherapy and
have three years practice.

Individuals in the process of finalizing a degree or the equivalent, completing hypnotherapy credits, or entering formal supervision. Agrees to abide by the Boards By Laws, Constitution and Code of Ethics.

Individuals engaged in hypnotherapy, counselling or related fields with an interest in hypnotherapy who Agree to abide by the Boards By Laws, Constitution and Code of Ethics.
